Dear Representative McNulty:
The hard working families of Colorado's 6th Congressional District need you. Today.
Rep. McNulty, you have shown over your relatively short career in the Legislature that you are a man of character, wisdom, and common-sense conservative solutions. You've done the right thing for your constituents and you've been a champion of issues that matter. Our families. Protecting our children from predators. And finding solutions to the challenges that threaten our quality of life.
And just as importantly, you've been an outspoken champion of law and order when it comes to protecting our borders against an invasion of illegal immigrants.
Today we're asking you to consider running for Congress and take your common-sense conservative voice to Washington, D.C. With Congressman Tancredo leaving, you are the only candidate who brings the necessary skillset to this race. You've been a dependable defender of our values. You've shown the smarts and talent to get the job done, but at the end of the day, this isn't a job you need. You are a self-made man and a hard worker.
The people of Colorado's 6th Congressional District need you. Please consider becoming a candidate for Congress.
Sincerely,
Conservative Voters of CD 6

As a member of the Agriculture Committee he has worked actively against Sportsmen groups. On January 23, 2008, he added a poison pill amendment to HB08-1069. This bill was designed to allow Colorado Division of Wildlife officers to begin enforcing existing regulations related to vehicles that travel off highway. This bill was supported by a diverse coalition including the Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition, Colorado Bow Hunters Association, Colorado Mountain Association, the Colorado Wildlife Federation, Trout Unlimited, and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. He is fast becoming a symbol of why hunters and fisherman cannot trust the Republican Party to keep the wild places wild for future generations.
